Ok this is version seven, the latest is eight so you're not getting the latest software or maps. What you ARE getting is the tried and tested CoPilot Sat Nav application on your phone at a dramatically reduced price.

If you have a GPS enabled phone you can use it as a fully featured Sat Nav system offering turn by turn directions...

Having mis-laid the original lead I needed a replacement and this does it perfectly.
The only disappointment was that around two days after receiving this great product - I found the original!!

Bought this as it seemed good value and the original TomTom in-car lead had broken off at the connector. The in-house charger is definitely useful as the TomTom seems to drain its battery even while switched off, so a periodic top-up helps. The in-car cable works fine but is too short for my car - the cigarette-lighter plug is behind the handbrake ...

Since purchase the description has changed.
the 'Delivery letter' giving URL and activation said that they would not consider any form of refund under any circumstases, and at the time of purchased there was no mention on XP only. They added in case of problems call TomTom.
