TomTom Go 720 UK and Western Europe maps
TomTom Go 720 is a new thin and very smart looking sat nav which offers door to door navigation across Western Europe. The maps can be updated online via Map Share. It also has a built in FM transmitter so if you were using the TomTom to play your MP3s you could tune your car radio into it and enjoy the sounds through your car's speakers. Amazon Price: £272.29 Used Price: £214.55 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 Review (rating: 5): held off buying a satnav for a long time. don't bother with the traffic version - save yourself 20 quid - does not work in UK.
IQ feature is very good indeed - chooses different routes depending on the time of day and has been v. accurate so far.
lane feature is good stops last minute lane jumping - works on some big A roads as well e.g. A1.
voice feature is good- very accurate recognition of most roads....
