 07 November - I Hear Voices!

Today I was looking for info on the net about other satellite navigation systems and I discovered that I could download funny celebrity voices. You could even get a Yoda voice for the Sat Nav. Cool! The first celeb that came to my mind when I discovered you could get their voice to give you directions was Ozzy Osbourne. I got a friend a talking birthday card a few months ago with the voices of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. It was hilarious. I can just imagine what a Sat Nav instruction from Ozzy would sound like: In 200 yards, turn fu, fu, fu, f****** left! Ha, Ha.

10 November - A Good Day

I haven't used my TomTom for the last couple of days, but today I had to go to a part of Edinburgh that I wasn't familiar with and my TomTom got me there no problem at all. not once did it direct me down a dead end or tell me to take a prohibited turn. I was happy with the complicated instructions at busy intersections. Well done to TomTom. I can now ditch my A-Z. In fact I can ditch my Great Britain road map too. Well it is over 15 years old.

11 November - The Voices

I decided not to go for the Ozzy voice as it was not an original voice - and you could tell. I'm sure it would still be funny, but I would rather have the original voice. Now I'm off to find an email address for the Osbournes.

I think I will end my memos at this point. Thanks for taking the time to read about my experience with my TomTom One Sat-Nav, and thanks to Best Sat Nav for allowing me to post my messages here.
